And the Lord answered Isaac's prayers,and through Rebekah's womb conceived two sons. But the sons of Isaac struggled within her womb, thus she inquired of the Lord, why her sons would struggle in this way. And the Lord answered her,"two nations are in your womb; and two peoples will be separated from your body; and one people shall be stronger than the other; and the older shall serve the younger.'" (Genesis 25:21-23)
