Velocity is distance divided by time.  And man has been distanced from God for a long time.  But God shall return with great speed.  And distance and time shall soon be forgotten.

Velocity is defined as distance covered per unit of time. And the distance from God shall be covered over time. For distance was created by the fall in the Garden, but time shall be gone in the twinkling of an eye. For " in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye,at the last trumpet; for the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. " (1 Corinthians 15:52) Thus the question becomes not if we shall return, but at what speed we shall return to the Father.
